ESMAG El Pino - Honduras
With few alternatives for employment and high rates of violence and migration on the north coast of Honduras, youth are susceptible to influences of organized crime. ESMAG - El Pino works with children, youth and adults to promote leadership and entrepreneurship skills and build environmental awareness. At the IAF, we support community led solutions to expand economic opportunity in Honduras. ESMAG - El Pino’s activities support efforts to protect the natural resources that communities depend on.
This grant is part of our broader initiative to support economic prosperity, democracy and governance consistent with the U.S. Strategy for Engagement in Central America.
